I am not Irish but I enjoy the music. This song as well as Danny BOY are 2 of my favorites. He sings this song from his heart and soul unfortunately to many singers today don't do that. John brought me to tears with this song. My dad died 40 years ago when I was 16 & still miss him. He had a beautiful Irish tenor voice so I grew up with Ireland in my heart.
